A digital exhibition space for Nebraska’s independent artists. Browse original work, discover local creators, and connect with the people behind the canvas.
A digital exhibition space forged from a deep love for Nebraska’s vast horizons, dramatic natural beauty, and the incredible creative talent that thrives right here in the Heartland.
Our name represents the striking contrasts of our state: the deep, rich earth beneath our feet and the endless, ever-changing sky above us. Nebraska is more than just a place on a map; it is a living canvas shaped by unique landscapes, vibrant history, and diverse perspectives.
A Note From the Founder
“As an artist myself, I know how exhausting the traditional gallery path can be. Waiting months for an open slot, crossing your fingers that people show up, or feeling disconnected from the people viewing your work can drain your creative energy. I built Cinder & Sky because we need something better.
I wanted a space where independent creators can instantly get their art out into the world without the gatekeeping. More than that, I wanted a platform where you can actually stand by your digital canvas and talk to people—sharing what inspired you and hearing what they feel. There is a lot of hurt out in the world right now. Some art isn’t just meant to be looked at in silence; it is meant to be discussed, wrestled with, and used as a bridge to heal. This is a place for those exact conversations.”
Cinder & Sky acts as a modern, high-contrast digital stage where independent artists can securely showcase their work, tell their unfiltered stories, and reach art lovers everywhere. From bold, eye-catching abstract canvases to sweeping prairie photography and intricate local crafts, we want to bring Nebraska’s creative pulse straight to the front page.
Whether you are a creator ready to bypass the traditional waitlist or a collector searching for art that speaks a deeper truth, we are thrilled to have you here at Cinder & Sky.
